Take a moment to learn about the history of Boraca and what sets us apart from other Marlow High Street retailers.
How we started
Boraca opened on The Marlow High Street in December 1998. After travelling the world, Dave and his wife were inspired by the craftsmanship and design they encountered, leading them to source unique home furnishings from suppliers across the globe and bring them back to Marlow. Since then, we have remained on the same shop plot and built a loyal, home-grown following.
What Sets Us Apart
What sets Boraca apart is our focus on truly distinctive, handcrafted home furnishings. We work with trusted suppliers from around the world who create unique pieces, many of which are stocked by only a small number of retailers in the UK. We have always prided ourselves on offering better value than other high street home furnishing retailers, without ever compromising on quality. As a family-run business, we take genuine pride in looking after every customer, from helping you find the perfect piece for your home to offering thoughtful aftercare long after your purchase.
Our Suppliers
We have spent many years carefully hand-picking suppliers who share our passion for quality, craftsmanship and individuality, allowing us to offer truly unique, handcrafted home furnishings. Our suppliers include Collectiviste, who create all of our floor lamps and lampshades, and Bree’s New World, who supply our distinctive chairs. Over time, we have built strong, trusted relationships with each of our suppliers, enabling us to offer the best possible products for our customers at the best possible price, without compromising on quality.
